JESMONITE CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • All Jesmonite®️ products are splash-proof, and have been sealed with a Beeswax based concrete wax. They are splash-proof but not soak-proof.

  • Avoid harsh cleaning chemicals and abrasives to avoid damaging the sealer. 

  • Wipe clean products with a damp cloth only. Do not submerge or soak Jesmonite products. Dry thoroughly.

  • It is advised to wipe away spillages as soon as possible to avoid staining.

  • Jesmonite®️ products are not dishwasher or microwave compatible.

  • All products are handmade and individual, thus colours and finishes may vary.

  • May contain naturally occurring air bubbles.

  • Products to be handled with care to avoid chips or damage

  • Indoor use only, unless otherwise stated.

CANDLE
HOLDER CARE

Our candle holders are made from Jesmonite®️ AC100, which is fire resistant. Jesmonite®️ products have been tested in accordance with EN 13501-1 under the harmonised Euroclass System of reaction to fire performance of building products which has been adopted by countries across Europe.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

  • Candle Holders are suitable for taper or dinner style candles. 

  • Please ensure you have a tight and secure fit into the candle holder before lighting. Always trim the wick to 5mm before lighting. 

  • Taper Candles should NOT be allowed to burn down below the top of the candle holder.

  • Always extinguish flame before it reaches the ‘crown’
    (last 2cm of taper)

  • If flame comes into contact with holder it will cause discolouration and charring.

CONTAINER CANDLE CARE

Our vessel candle containers are made from Jesmonite®️ AC100, which is fire resistant. Jesmonite®️ products have been tested in accordance with EN 13501-1 under the harmonised Euroclass System of reaction to fire performance of building products which has been adopted by countries across Europe.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

  • Trim the wick to 5mm before lighting.

  • To prevent tunnelling, ensure the melt pool reaches the edge of the vessel before extinguishing, particularly during the first burn. Subsequent burns should be no longer than 4 hrs.

  • Keep candle free from any foreign materials, including matches and wick trimmings.

  • Only burn candle on a level, fire resistant surface.

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.

  • Do not allow flame to touch the sides of vessel.
